As area coordinator, or AC for the InFaith southern Oregon Field, I serve as the area assistant to the field director. I meet annually with the field director and other Pacific Northwest AC’s to discuss field-wide concerns, and pray for the missionaries in our care. This latter is my primary responsibility: to provide assistance and encourage-ment for my fellow mission-aries on the field. This includes retired InFaith missionaries on the field as well.
It was the vision of our mission’s founders to start Sunday Schools across America, wherever people could be won to the Lord Jesus Christ. Despite having been known in years past as a “Christian nation,” it’s clear to all of us that 21st century America is not “one nation under God” in truth or in spirit. There is still a need for a vision of what God can do in our desperate country. There are still lost people all around us. Until the Lord returns, we still need to heed the words of the Apostle Peter:
Pacific Bible College
An area of ministry that opened up for me in 2005 is that of adjunct faculty at Pacific Bible College. Pacific Bible College is located in Medford and offers two-year associate degrees in Bible and counseling. The school’s mission is to prepare ministry students, laypersons, business professionals, homemakers, and missionaries for effective service for Christ.
One of my greatest joys has been seeing the almost week-by-week growth of my students, and in knowing that they, in turn, will use their education to minister to others in the matchless name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
It is a special privilege to work alongside these faithful men and women of God.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that... you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
IIn February 2015 I realized a long-held dream of going to minister in India. During this brief trip I saw a number of Christian ministries in operation and had opportunities to teach and encourage.
As a result of that trip, God has opened the door for me to go to India again in February - March 2016 for an intensive teaching ministry. I will be presenting the essentials of Bible Study Methods in three to four different locations over a three week period
While this is in no way connected to InFaith, this ministry to spiritually needy people in India, specifically, has been on my heart for years. The Lord has graciously blessed me with these opportunities.
